• Biometric performance:

Reliable, durable, and high-precision fingerprint sensor with the latest fingerprint matching algorithm providing user recognition in less than 1.5 seconds.

• Communication:

The QUALICA-RD 1000 is easily installed on your network with Ethernet and serial RS232/485 port. The Weigand-OUT port allows connection of the reader or any third-party access control panel. Using the Weigand-IN port, it can be connected to any card reader for dual-factor authentication.

• Options:

Internal ID or Mifare® card reader, for double verification.

• Complete access control:

Relay outputs for electric lock and alarm. Hardware inputs for door status sensor and exit request. Supports multiple time zones and personnel groups to schedule valid entry zones.

• Water and dust resistant housing (IP65):

The IP65-rated water-resistant housing allows this reader to be used for outdoor applications. The cables and connectors are sealed with epoxy resin on the back of the reader.

• Storage capacity:

It can store up to 2,200 fingerprint templates, 10,000 cards, and 30,000 transactions. Data can be copied to an SD card and can also be transferred to another reader in the absence of a computer connection.

• Easy operation and management:

Operates without a computer. Full configuration and programming can be done through the keypads and the included firmware. Audiovisual indication for acceptance and rejection of valid/invalid fingerprints, cards, and passwords.

• For software developers:

Free SDK and development tools are available for developers/partners wishing to integrate QUALICA-RD 1000 with any application requiring person verification. Custom development is also available for OEM partners upon request.
